Asparagus season, one of our favorite culinary seasons here at the Waldhotel Ehrental, is slowly coming to an end. Traditionally, the last stalks of this royal vegetable are harvested on June 24th, St. John's Day. We've enjoyed the past few weeks and hope you've been able to savor our creative asparagus dishes to the fullest.
But there's no reason to be sad! Because, as is natural, the end of one season already heralds the beginning of a new one. While we bid farewell to asparagus, our anticipation grows for another forest dweller that makes the hearts of foodies beat faster: the chanterelle.

The beginning of August is the time! That's when we expect the first fresh chanterelles from the local forests. Our kitchen team is already raring to go, working on new, delicious creations to conjure up the unique, spicy flavor of this wonderful mushroom for you. Look forward to dishes that capture the aromas of the forest and showcase summer at its most indulgent.
Visit us at the Waldhotel Ehrental and let us spoil you with culinary delights again this coming season. We look forward to seeing you!
